SANTA BARBARA & SOLVANG

Santa Barbara is a pretty quiet town as well. There are things to do for tourists. It's a very RELAXING city for me. And I do enjoy hanging out there. There are bars to go to but not like L.A. *is gloating* :P This will be another relaxing city to see.

Solvang is also considered wine country. It's about 28 miles away (30 min. drive) from Santa Barbara. IMO, it's a place you only need to go one time to enjoy. It's very quaint and nice to walk around. Not too much to do here except for get tipsy from all the wine tasting. Worldmark Resort lists some activities. If you want to do that, I'm open for it. weeeeeee!

  3. I'm looking forward to this town!! I love wandering around towns like this.....especially ones with a german or scandenavian (such as this) architectural style. : )

Do you have any idea how much time you guys would like to spend here? It looks pretty small, so maybe a few hours would do? I'm looking right now, and if we stay there overnight, we could go to Paula's Pancake house in the morning! Woot! Here are some other things to do here:
    *Nojoqui Falls
*continues researching....finds nothing....* LOL! Then it looks like walking around town is all we need to do! lol

  4. Meh, nevermind. Nojoqui Falls is 10 minutes by road from town, and then another hike to barely a trickle of water. We'll be passing by much more impressive waterfalls, so it looks like we'll be spending even LESS time there! Honestly though, just walking around town will be enough. =D
