Welcome to CA!!! Nice crash landing! So Maddi will pick everyone up from the airport and we can go straight to L.A. and do some sightseeing. Maybe have dinner over there. It should be a relaxing day before we head to San Diego the next day.Downtown Fullerton will be cool to walk in. It's small but there are restaurants and bars we can visit. Depending on the day, there is a farmer's market there and it's pretty cool.
Or we can walk around Laguna Beach. It's kinda pricey over there. But it'll be nice to drive along the coast. Then there is also Old Town Orange where they have nice restaurants and it's known for it's architectural history. We can hang out there.
:::KIKI UPDATE:::
Just so you know, I'm finding flights to LAX for just under $300 on June 29. The other days around that time are at least $25-$30 more expensive. Just throwing that out there. ; )
These all sound like good ideas. I'll leave it up to you to decide which place is best for us, Maddi!
ReplyDeleteConsidering Eka and I will both be flying for several hours with one layover each (I'm sure), it means we'll probably arrive around late afternoon or so. I'm going to try to get an early flight, and from what I've seen, I'll be able to do that. It'd be nice if Eka and I arrived around the same time!! *crosses fingers*
Since this will be our first night hanging out in person (EEK!), maybe we should try to keep it all fairly simple? Perhaps choose a place that is nice to walk around in and where we'll be able to eat somewhere cutesy? (lol)
Well, since I'm picking you up from LAX, we can hang around there until I've gotten the both of you. Depending on how tired you both are, we can head out back to my place and just eat around there. Downtown Fullerton may be best then. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I shouldn't be too tired, but that's just me, hehe. The Fullerton area sounds perfect. : )
ReplyDeleteSorry for not responding right away. I just looked at the number of comments, and had thought that the last one was mine!!
